CBTU Letter to Minister Qualtrough on EI Reform

[:en]Recently, with a number of partners, Canada’s Building Trades Unions participated in a forum on Employment Insurance and as a result of the discussions that took place, sent a letter to the Hon. Minister Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion. The letter stressed the need for a comprehensive review of the EI program and to ensure it is part of the mandate letter for the new Minister.  You can read the letter here: Letter Qualtrough forum dec 2019

La ministre Carla Qualtrough, ministre de l’Emploi, du Développement de la main-d’œuvre et de l’inclusion des personnes handicapées. La lettre soulignait la nécessité d’un examen complet du programme d’assurance-emploi et de veiller à ce qu’il fasse partie de la lettre de mandat du nouveau ministre.
