CBTU Distinction Awards Nominations Open

The CBTU Distinction Awards, presented at our annual legislative conference, recognize and honour industry leaders who have made significant contributions to their fields.

There are three awards: Workforce Development, Health and Safety, and Special Award of Distinction.

The Workforce Development award recognizes the contributions the individual and/or organization has made to workforce development in the previous year in areas of Apprenticeship, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and/or Innovation.

The Health & Safety award recognizes the contributions the individual and/or organizations has made to health and safety in the previous year.

The Special Award of Distinction recognizes the contributions the individual and/or organization in service years/outstanding contribution to labour movement.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, February 20.
