We Built That!

Site C

LNG Site C is a hydroelectric generating station on the Peace River in British Columbia that began construction in 2015. This project will provide enough renewable electricity to power the equivalent of about 450,000 homes per year in B.C. It will be a source of clean, reliable, and cost-effective electricity for more than 100 years. It will also generate economic development for nearby Indigenous communities on Peace River. By its completion, which is slated for 2025, Site C will have created about 13,000 jobs.

Did you know? Site C will produce fewer emissions than most other electricity generating options, such as nuclear.
