Building it Green

Building It Green is a national training program to strengthen the construction industry’s ability to support journeypersons, apprentices, and trades instructors as they meet the challenge of a net-zero future and the challenges posed by climate change.

Developed by tradespeople, for tradespeople, Building It Green is the most comprehensive climate training program for the union skilled trades in Canada.

Best of all? It’s free for apprentices, journeyworkers, training and trades instructors, union leaders, contractors, and employers.

To get started, enroll today in the Building It Green Foundations Course, a 2½-hour fully online course designed to give workers in the construction sector the foundational knowledge they need to deliver high-performance, green construction projects.
