Canadian Building Trades members have been instrumental in building the Gordie Howe International Bridge, spanning Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. The Gordie Howe International Bridge is the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America and is slated to reached completion in September 2025 – by this time, the project will have created roughly 2,500 jobs.

Did you know?

The Gordie Howe bridge will save truck drivers nearly 850,000  hours per year in wait times, versus waiting at the nearby Ambassador bridge.
