“As we head into the long weekend, Canada’s Building Trades Unions (CBTU) recognize those that will celebrate Easter, Passover or Ramadan; religious holidays usually marked by gathering with family and friends. This year, we encourage everyone to stay safe and continue to practice self-distancing to lessen the chance of spreading the coronavirus. While this is a difficult time, we wish you a safe and healthy holiday and look ahead to a time when we can celebrate in ways we traditionally would, together.

Thank you to all of those front-line workers – from our building trade brothers and sisters, to our healthcare workers, grocery store clerks, truck drivers and other essential services for continuing to keep us safe. Together, we will come out of this stronger than we were before.”

– Robert Kucheran, Chairman, Canada’s Building Trades Unions
